Golf
If golf is your interest then there are more than enough golf courses dotted around the Kissimmee area, and many close to the resort, to keep even the keenest golfer busy. Not far away is the multi award winning Falcons Fire golf course designed by Rees Jones. It is a 6,900 yard 72 par 18 hole course that boasts tournament playing conditions all  year round, and is certainly one of the best courses in central Florida. Another course about a mile away is the much praised Mystic Dunes golf course which is a par 71, 18 hole, 7,012 yard course designed by PGA Tour player and NBC analyst Gary Koch. It claims to have the best finishing four that can be found anywhere (that is, according to Golf and Leisure magazine). Many other courses are within a short distance.
For the less serious golfer - and some light-hearted entertainment, try one of the many crazy golf courses that can be found along Highway 192.

Universal Studios is just a short drive away and is an excellent day or two out for the thrill seekers among you. Mind you, if its thrills you’re after Busch Gardens in Tampa (about 1½ hours drive) is also a good place to find them and I would argue the coasters are better at Busch. Busch gardens has a really beautiful landscape savannah complete with all manner of safari animals and birds combined with the maddest coasters I’ve ever seen, this theme park has something to offer everyone in the family. One of the roller coasters is actually built with wood! Just the thought of being on that wooden roller coaster again as it shakes and creaks ominously even before the first dive is enough to make me want to reach out and hold onto something. You get
