Emerald Island Resort is conveniently located less than 3 miles from the gates of Disney off Highway US192 which runs through central Kissimmee and is famous for its shops and restaurants. The resort is the closest resort to Disney, so close in fact that it is actually considered locally to be part of Celebration, as opposed to Kissimmee, which is Disney’s own housing plan development but unfortunately has no vacation rentals due to the bylaws there. if you want to be close to Disney and all the dining that the area has to offer then you really can’t get any better placed than Emerald Island resort.
